Admissions Policy
Admissions Policy
1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to outline the criteria and procedures for admissions into the Nursing Jobs Fair events hosted by Healthdaq®, (hereafter referred to as “the event”). The policy aims to ensure that only qualified nursing and midwifery professionals, or those with relevant skills who have the right to work in the country of the event, may ordinarily participate in the event, fostering a professional environment conducive to networking, recruitment, and career development for candidates and employers alike.
2. Eligibility Criteria
2.1. Only qualified nursing and midwifery professionals, or those with relevant skills who have the right to work in the country of the event, are ordinarily eligible to attend the event.
2.2. Upon registering for the event, candidates may be required to provide the PIN number associated with their respective nursing/midwifery register, as evidence that they are registered with an appropriate and recognised nursing and midwifery governing body.
2.3. Persons not currently registered with a recognised nursing and midwifery governing body or ineligible to work in the country of the event should not register for the event. Healthdaq reserves the right to refuse entry to those attendees who are not registered with an appropriate and recognised nursing and midwifery governing body; those who are not eligible for work in the country of the event; or for any reason deemed appropriate by Healthdaq, without requiring to communicate said reason.
3. Pre-Event Registration Process
3.1. Attendees will register for the event by providing details including personal information and contact details. A PIN Number could be required as proof of registration with an appropriate and recognised nursing and midwifery governing body.
3.2. Should they not already be registered with Healthdaq, or have not already registered for any previous event; job application; or had any other engagement with any Healthdaq-supported platforms, attendees will be automatically registered with Healthdaq through the Healthfolio digital employment passport and candidate profile compiled upon their successfully registering for the event. This account provides full access to the complete range of Healthdaq job candidate-facing products and services, as well as facilitating admission into and participation in the event.
3.3. The pre-event registration process ensures efficient event management, facilitates ease of access, and enables Healthdaq to plan for resources and space accordingly.
3.4. Note that attendees who are not registered with a recognised nursing and midwifery governing body or who are ineligible to work in the country of the event should not expect to be granted admission into the event.
4. Admissions Procedure
4.1. Attendees can gain access on the day of the event by presenting their unique QR code, provided to them through their Healthdaq profile.
4.2. Nursing role and registration status will be confirmed by event staff at the door.
5. Discretion of Healthdaq
5.1. Healthdaq reserves the right to exercise discretion regarding admissions to the event.
5.2. Attendees failing to provide valid proof of registration, including but not limited to a QR code generated by their Healthdaq profile, may be refused entry at the discretion of Healthdaq.
5.3. Persons representing recruitment agencies, staffing agencies, recruitment agencies or any other recruitment-sector body should not register to attend the event. Healthdaq reserves the right to refuse admission to any person or persons representing recruitment agencies, staffing agencies, recruitment consultancies or any other recruitment-sector bodies not directly exhibiting at the event, or for any reason whatsoever, without a requirement for that reason to be communicated.
5.4. Healthdaq may additionally refuse entry for reasons such as inappropriate conduct, breach of event rules, or any behaviour that may hinder the purpose and atmosphere of the event.
5.5. Refusal of entry may also occur for any reason deemed appropriate by Healthdaq, without a requirement for that reason to be communicated to the person(s) denied entry.
6. Compliance
6.1. Attendees are expected to comply with the admissions policy stated herein and any additional rules or instructions provided by Healthdaq, as well as appropriate health and safety guidelines, rules set by the premises, and laws and regulations of the legal jurisdiction within which the event is hosted.
6.2. Failure to comply with the policy or event rules may result in expulsion from the event premises.
7. Policy Review
This admissions policy will be periodically reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure alignment with current regulations and industry standards.
Please note that this policy document is subject to revision and customization based on specific event requirements and legal considerations.
